Black to the Future
Art direction and graphic design for a human rights and reproductive justice organization's annual fundraising gala.
I love branding. I love the psychology behind it. When I work on logos, my philosophy is one I read in relation to the Nike swoosh logo some years ago: you know it when you see it. Instantly recognizable. Doesn't even need to be next to the word "Nike." It can be fuzzy and far away or shrunk down tiny and you still know it, and that's branding that works on every level.
There is great power in (and oft-times a great deal of work behind) a logo that looks simple and effortless. The best logos communicate just that.
