I'm of the belief that for Black women and other women of color in this world, our mere existence (and all that comes with it--living, loving, surviving, thriving) is a revolutionary, or "gangsterly" act. The Gangsterly tumblr is a visual and aural curation of that perspective.

As is standard with Tumblr, the content is categorized in 6 ways: photos, video, audio, links, quotes, text, and Q&A, and each content type has a different presentation design-wise. I wanted the homepage to represent a quilt, so I employed the Masonry JavaScript grid library. This layout is responsive, so depending on the user's device or browser size, there can be anywhere between a one and six column grid.
