The team behind the award-winning blog Very Smart Brothas wrote a humorous relationship book, "Your Degrees Won't Keep You Warm at Night: The Very Smart Brothas Guide to Dating, Mating, and Fighting Crime", that combines a unique blend of past experiences and observations, pop-culture references, and outlandish analogies to create their entertaining relationship expertise.
I was given free reign on the design of the front cover, binder, & back, and experimented with typography and a color palette that could somehow communicate the TV show Mad Men meets Superman--two purposely overt masculine themes, but presented in a tongue-in-cheek way that would also amuse and intrigue women, who make up over half of the VSB fanbase.
